Sightseeing trips during the Congress
Trip 1:
On behalf of His Magnificence Rector of the University of Wrocław Professor Adam Jezierski we invite to visit the most representative halls of the Main Building of the University of Wrocław. A group of people will be guided in English by His Magnificence Rector himself. The visit is scheduled for 13th September, right after ‘The Sociology in Central and Eastern Europe’ symposium (i.e. at 19:45) which will take place in the Oratorium Marianum hall in the Main Building of the University of Wrocław (Wrocław, Uniwersytecki Square 1). The number of visitors – 30 people; duration – around 45 minutes. Just after that we invite to join an evening guided walk (in English) about Wrocław. The walk will start on 13th September right after the visit of the Main Building of the University of Wrocław, i.e. about 20:30, in front of this Building (Wrocław, Uniwersytecki Aquare 1). Then we will go on, via Market Square, to the ‘Mleczarnia’ café where another event within the frames of the Congress is going to take place. The number of visitors – 30 people; duration – around 45 minutes.
Trip 2:
We invite to join an evening guided walk (in English) about Wrocław. The walk will start on 13th September after the ‘De/Re-constructing European borders in times of crises – voices of researchers and practitioners’ symposium, which will take place at the Lower Silesian Film Centre [Dolnośląskie Centrum Filmowe] (Wrocław, Piłsudskiego Street 64a). We will set off from the Centre to get to the ‘Mleczarnia’ café where another event within the frames of the Congress is going to take place. The number of visitors – 30 people; duration – around 60 minutes.
